Grief does not follow a timeline. Here is something that will not rush you.

Seven honest guides for the parts of loss nobody prepared you for, written by someone who lived through all of it.

You Have Read the Grief Books. This Is Different.

Most grief books explain the stages. Few explain the cereal aisle moment, the friend who disappears, the year everyone stops asking how you are doing. Still Becoming does not offer clinical distance or forced positivity. It offers language for what you are already living through, written plainly, by someone who has been exactly where you are.

If Any of This Sounds Familiar

  • I cannot explain to anyone what this grief actually feels like.
  • I know I need to let go but I do not know what that means in practice.
  • Everyone keeps telling me to be positive. That does not help.
  • I feel like I should be further along in my healing by now.
  • I do not want to call a therapist every time I feel this way.

There is a guide for exactly where you are.

The Heart Behind the Work

I did not plan to become a writer. I got here the way most people do, by living through something that would not let me look away.
